WATER SERVICE

Four possible water providers.

Not sure which one is yours?

Look for the provider’s name on your water bill. A new resident can call a provider with the service address to confirm. An Artesia mailing address alone doesn’t identify the water company.

For a water main break or a leak in the street, call your provider directly.

A FEW IMPORTANT DISTINCTIONS

Know your city. Find the right place.

Which library serves Artesia?

Artesia Library is part of LA County Library and is at 18801 Elaine Avenue. It is different from Cerritos Library. Check the Artesia branch’s current services and hours.

Is the Metro Artesia station in the City of Artesia?

No. Metro’s A Line Artesia station is in Compton. The City of Compton’s station planning page provides local context. For trips within Artesia, check the free Artesia Transit route and the City’s transportation information. Artesia’s future rail connection is the Southeast Gateway Line and planned Pioneer Station.

Which school will my child attend?

Artesia is served by ABC Unified School District. Assignment depends on your address and applicable enrollment rules. Use the district’s official enrollment and school information, rather than assuming an Artesia-named campus is within city limits.

Where can I report a broken streetlight or illegal dumping?

Use the City’s Report a Concern service for non-emergency maintenance requests. This independent website does not forward reports to the City.
